George Vondriska George was taking stuff apart and, for the most part, putting it back together from an early age. He was in middle school when he decided he wanted to be a shop teacher and has been on that path ever since.

In addition to the classes George offers in his shop in Wisconsin, he has taught for woodworking clubs and retail stores across the country. He spent two years teaching hand tool joinery for the Peace Corps in Africa, where he also trained other Peace Corps instructors. He has provided woodworking training for Andersen Windows and employees of the Pentagon.

Since 2007 George has been the Managing Editor for Woodworkers Guild of America, an online woodworking magazine, and has created over 1,000 instructional videos. George’s book, Woodworker’s Guide to Live Edge Slabs, is available on Amazon and from book sellers.
