Class Registration

The easiest and most accurate way to register and pay for a class is to follow the “register” link that appears with each class description on the school website www.schoolofwoodworking.com

We discourage registration by phone but if you are unable to register on line, you can call  860.647.0303. Make sure to have your cell phone number and email address handy. The school shares space with a Woodcraft store. That is who will answer the phone and process your payment. Any questions about the classes should be directed to the school’s Director- Bob Van Dyke – bob@schoolofwoodworking.com

Note: Most classes fill up quickly so it is best to register early. If a class is full make sure to place yourself on the waitlist. There is no obligation and cancellations happen frequently. You will receive an email if a space opens.  Minimum age for students is 18 years old.

Cancellations

Unless we are able to fill your space, refunds and transfers will only be made for classes cancelled prior to two weeks before the start of the class. To request a refund, email or call the school’s director- Bob Van Dyke bob@schoolofwoodworking.com or 860.647.0303. Text messages or voice mails will not be considered as notification.

Unlike large corporations that can absorb the lost revenue from a last-minute cancellation, we are a small business with virtually no margin. Because we intentionally limit class sizes to 8 students, the loss of one tuition has a serious effect on the school.

We make no exceptions to this cancellation policy. Cancellations are defined as failure to attend all or any part of a class regardless of the reason (Illness, epidemics, accidents, breakdowns, weather, death in the family, acts of God, etc)

If CVSW cancels a class for any reason we will offer a prompt refund or transfer to any other class- whichever you prefer.

Guidelines

Upon registration you will be given a copy of the school guidelines, tool list and general release. Please return signed release before the class begins.
