Darrell Peart lives in Seattle and is best known for his Greene & Greene style furniture.

His influences are broad and not limited to G&G though.

He has written articles for numerous woodworking magazines. His first book, “Greene and Greene: Design Elements for the Workshop” was published in 2006.

His third book, The Artisan Furnituremaker: A Creative Survival Guide, is scheduled to be in print at the end of 2022.

He has taught at various woodworking schools in the US and has an active YouTube channel.

These days Darrell is semi-retired. He spends most of his days building furniture and exploring new designs. While he builds occasional “spec” pieces for sale – he now concentrates mostly on building stuff for his wife, kids, and grandkids.

He also still teaches on a limited basis at just a couple of his favorite schools (like CVSW!)
