The Danish cord chair weave is an iconic representation of Mid-Century Modern furniture, also referred to as MCM. While most seat weaving practices can be accomplished utilizing thrift shop, tag sale and antique store finds, MCM chairs are difficult to find.
In this two day class you will learn to weave this distinctive style using a stool that we will provide. The stool is the vehicle to learn the techniques but when finished it will make a great addition to your house. The techniques Sue will be using requires special L-nails and a very specific spacing.
