      Description

      Join Fine Woodworking Editor Mike Pekovich as we jump into this new and unique project. This useful side table gets a lift from its floating top. Subtly curved legs lighten the look and offer a good lesson in shaping. Draw-bore joinery makes for rock-solid construction. You can even skip the glue if you wish. The top consists of two halves which are attached with sliding dovetails. The arched side rails are wrapped with cord, giving it a distinctive look and providing a convenient handle for carrying, making this a truly portable little table.
