A dovetailed case built in ash sits atop a quarter-sawn white oak tapered-leg base which is constructed using through mortise-and-tenon joinery. The combination of the white colored ash with the darker oak creates a visual interest that gives the piece character and uniqueness The glass-paneled door is offset with Japanese style kumiko latticework in a traditional flower pattern.
