Description
Join Sue Muldoon in this exiting new class. Participants will learn to construct a useful rib-style basket out of reed, beginning with an oval or round oak handle or twisted reed frame and handle set. We will create the handle and rim set which is held together with a God's Eye weave, then learn how to insert and form ribs of round reed and weaving.
This traditional weaving style produces a basket that is ideal for gathering foraged items, collecting eggs, or garden goodies. A good -sized basket with lots of room for your projects.
Colors will be available to accent the God’s Eye or weaving. This is a great way to spend a weekend and make something useful and attractive.
Tuition: $425.00 plus materials ($60.00 plus tax)
