Small Woodturning Projects with Rick Angus
This night time class is designed to give beginning and intermediate woodturners a great opportunity to make a number of small projects while learning, polishing and perfecting their turning skills. We start with a review of tools used in turning, tool sharpening, sanding and finishing on the lathe. During the first class, the projects will be chosen from a list including:
Honey Dipper, Spurtle (for stirring oatmeal), Tool Handle for a Reversible Screwdriver, Toy Top, Muddler, Spoon (with some light carving), Whistle, Rolling Pin, Mushroom and other ideas from students.
Safety is always important and will be emphasized throughout the course. Students will gain valuable experience and make some great projects which will help build confidence to continue the quest to master the art of woodturning. Sigh up today. Space is limited. Tuition: $295.00 plus materials ($55.00)
